GRANDMA NAUNYS FABRIC CUPBOARD..S...S..

My grandma totally rocks. She has oodles, and oodles, and more oodles of fabric in the oh so many cupboards in her fabric room.

Grandma Nauny as she prefers to be called. "She is not a granny!" Her words, not mine!

She loaded me up with fabric. We all will come to know how much this mom loves fabric!

With all of this fabric I am making oodles of INFINITY SCARVES!

First I took,
{I guesstamate about everything, so any questions please feel free to email me}
6ft by 18 inches of fabric, if you only have a couple of feet you can cut and sew 2 pieces together
{which I will show you what it looks like}
I had 2 pieces that were 3ft x 18in, so I added the lace inbetween the 2 to connect them together.

NEXT:
you pillow case sew it.

YOU:
Fold the fabric in half lengthwise and sew down 1 side of it
{the longest side}
You will have 1 long tunnel. I shoved my hand through it to {flip} it!
then you flip it right side out so you are stuck with sometheing that looks like this:

So you will have 1 long tube of fabric.
I connected the tubes by placing one end inside other.
I folded over the outer edge of the 2 so I had a nice hem line and then I just did a simple stitch.

So You end up with one large circle{infinity}scarf!
Lets be honest they look great with everything, including jammies
{which I will model right HERE}

Grandmas cupboards are the very best place to find awesome fabric that NO ONE, I repeat,
NO ONE
will have, so it will all be original!!! EEEEK!!

Now go get your craft on. You can whip one or more :) of these out in about 10 mins!
{I ended up with 5 of them, even one for my adorbs little one}

much puckers and lubbies,

KEEPING KIDDOS BUSY

So, it is 10:00am on a sunday
Hubbs left for San Antonio and the kiddos have had the STOMACH FLU...
BIG FAT
YUCK!
I believe my wonderful primary teachers will thank me for keeping the kids away!!
 HUBBS  GONE=CRAFT TIME
How do I keep them busy so I can
GET MY CRAFT ON?
 Nothing $2.87 at Wally World won't take care of.
 I used painters tape. Having had a TON of practice with it, I am fully aware it leaves NO residue! YAY for clean-up!
HAPPY KIDDOS=HAPPY MOMMY!

WELCOME, WELCOME

As I just got done starting this blog up, for my own crafting "journal", haha journal... I am not good at keeping one.
I was tucking my keeddos in bed and my son
(AKA handsome, squishy, love muffin boyfriend)
 said, "MOMS THE BOSS, DADS THE BASSISTANT!".
As to which Hubbs (AKA BEAU OR HUSBAND) replied:
"Truer words have never been spoken (in his soft, meek voice)."

PEOPLE this is our life.
I am
loud,
talkative,
creative,
kind-of funny (Hubbs said that),
but I am also,
loving,
dreamy,
sensitive,
and oh so very PASSIONATE about my life and what goes on in it!
Hubbs is:
soft spoken,
meek,
kind,
creative,
loving,
oh so very funny...or so he thinks ;)
smart,
PAITIENT,
and oh my, oh my the man of my dreams!

Here behind our pink door you will get to know and love us. Why wouldn't you? We love us.

much puckers and lubbies,
mellie
